Flower: Lily of the Valley
The lily of the valley is a delicate flower that symbolizes a return to happiness. I gave it to Jarry for two reasons: first, because it is the national flower of his home country, Finland, and also because when he was outed as gay, Joséphine sent him to live with his father in Buenos Aires. I imagine that it was a difficult time for him, so a return to happiness seems like a meaningful gift (even though the flower has a little bruise).
