VIVI CHO

Vivi Cho's drawings and paintings are in the pop tradition and depict imaginary scenarios. The use of vivid, high-contrast colors imbues the image with energy and vitality and takes the viewer on a fantastic, dreamlike journey. Influenced by the world of manga, the artist represents female portraits with a strong gaze evolving in worlds populated by chimeras.
 Vivi Cho is a South Korean artist born in 1983.
After receiving her bachelor's and master's degrees from Kyunggi University in Seoul, the artist began her professional career in Korea and then internationally. Her works are in the collections of several Korean institutions such as the Art Bank National Museum of Contemporary Art, the Metropolitan Museum Data collections and the Museum of Sex & Health, but also in the private collections of many international collectors.
